Orbital Ring Fixture, holder for working on jewelry rings
Chris DeCamillis designed the Orbital Ring Fixture with modern engraving and stone setting in mind. It holds the rings in almost limitless positions and angles, making it easy to set stones or engrave rings with or without prongs. In addition, it offers adequate clearance for working with gravers and burs.
Collets
You will receive 4 solid brass collets with two expanding angles for a firm grip. The collets are split into 3 sections, which makes it easy to hold rings that are not perfectly round. Each collet expands two ring sizes: 4 – 6, 6 – 8, 8 – 10, and 10 – 12.
Each collet is clearly marked for easy reassembly.
The brass density helps to reduce vibrations considerably, transferring more energy from your tool to the workpiece. The fixtures design requires very little pressure to secure your workpiece.
