The new line of guillotine shears from Durston Tools is the first of its kind. The patent-pending table, new improved backstop and square drive system set these new guillotine shears apart from the crowd.

Cutting guide

Thanks to the improved cutting guide, the guillotines offer more flexibility and accuracy when cutting. The unique design of the table and guide allow even wide sheets to pass through the guillotine with ease. The angle can be adjusted in 5° increments up to 60°.

Cutting thickness

Tested with copper (non-ferrous metal) – Cuts full 6 inch sheets up to a maximum thickness of 1,5 mm.

Backstop

The improved backstop features smooth-running bearing guides that can be tightened by hand for quick locking and unlocking. This means the blade has no unwanted play and achieves precise repeat cuts.

Square drive and blade

Another innovation is square drive system with patent pending rack and pinion. This system ensures that maximum torque is transmitted directly from the drawbar to the blade. The result is a smoother cut with less effort.

The blade is precision ground, hardened and tempered.
